We also want you to know that we are committed to maintaining the delivery of our services throughout the period required to overcome the impacts of COVID-19.
As you will be aware, the COVID-19 virus is a rapidly evolving situation which is having a major impact on the economy, workplaces and individuals. COVID-19 is giving rise to a multitude of business, employment and safety-related questions in a context which has not previously been contemplated.
Whilst the situation is rapidly unfolding, we believe it is important to keep a practical and focused approach. As part of this we want to make it clear to you that we are deeply committed to ensuring continuity of our service to you and to assisting you in whatever ways we can to ensure continuity in what you do.
Like many businesses we are considering our working arrangements which will see our office remain open for the foreseeable future, however it is likely we will introduce more flexible working arrangements as COVID-19 unfolds (given what is happening overseas). We expect to see a transition period over the next few days/weeks and we will be reviewing the provision of our services to you as the situation evolves. We however want to outline some of the contingency plans that we have in place to ensure continuity of service.
We are well positioned to operate on a business as usual manner given our IT setup as well as newly developed communications strategies. This should ensure that there is as little as possible disruption to the services we provide you. If we do end up working remotely, we have the systems in place to ensure continuity of our services to you.
Regarding any client meetings that have been arranged we will, wherever possible, switch these to alternative ways of meeting by utilising video conferencing or audio-conferencing. We will continue to follow all government based guidance and update our approach where necessary.
If you do attend our offices, we ask that you follow the same standards that we have required all partners and staff to follow – that is, to follow all government issued guidelines around cleanliness and social distancing. If you do feel unwell, have flu like symptoms or have been in contact with anyone who has been diagnosed with coronavirus in the last fourteen days we would ask that you do not attend our offices for obvious reasons. In such circumstances, we will look to make alternative arrangements.
